1. About these terms

BookingElf is designed and managed by Urban One (UEN 53138024J), Singapore. In these terms, "BookingElf", "we", "us" and "our" mean Urban One trading as BookingElf. "You" means anyone who visits bookingelf.app, sends us an enquiry, or uses BookingElf for a cafe or restaurant ("your venue").

By using this website or BookingElf, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or the service.

2. Using this website

You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's consent, to use this website. You may only use it for lawful purposes.

We keep the information on this website as accurate and current as we can, but it is for general information only. Features, prices and content may change, and we may correct errors at any time without notice.

3. Enquiries and forms

When you send us a Get started or quote form, you agree to give accurate details about yourself and your venue. Sending a form does not create a subscription or a contract. We handle your details as set out in our privacy policy.

4. Using BookingElf at your venue

BookingElf costs $40 a month per location, pre-paid monthly and billed by invoice, with no minimum term. If your venue uses BookingElf, our venue service terms also apply. They cover fees, billing, cancellation, guest data, support and liability.

5. Your venue's data

Your guest records and bookings belong to your venue. We store and process them on your behalf to run the service, and we do not sell them. BookingElf includes tools to export or delete a guest's data when they ask.

6. Guests who book at a venue

Guests who book a table through a venue's BookingElf page agree to the booking terms shown on that page. BookingElf is a technology platform that takes bookings for venues. We do not operate any venue, and we are not responsible for a venue's premises, food, drinks or service.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the website or BookingElf for any unlawful purpose, or to break any law
  • give false or misleading information
  • make bookings you do not intend to honour, or duplicate bookings for the same date and time
  • use bots, scripts or other automated tools to access, scrape or crawl the website or the service
  • try to access any part of the service not meant for you, or get around its security features
  • upload or send viruses or any other malicious code
  • harass, abuse or harm anyone, or collect other people's personal information without their consent
  • copy, resell or reproduce any part of the service without our written permission

We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these rules.

8. Intellectual property

The website and BookingElf, including the software, design, text, graphics and logos, are owned by Urban One and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer any part of them.

9. Third-party links and services

This website and BookingElf may link to or work with third-party services, such as Google Business Profile. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or terms. Your use of them is at your own risk and under their terms.

10. Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve BookingElf without any obligation to you.

11. Disclaimer

The website and BookingElf are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent allowed by law, we make no promises that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that availability and time slot information will always be accurate.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookingElf and Urban One are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or lost or incorrect bookings, arising from your use of the website or the service.

Our total liability for all claims related to the website or the service is limited to 480 in the currency you are billed. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

13. Indemnity

You agree to cover BookingElf and Urban One for any claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your breach of these terms or your breach of any law or anyone else's rights.

14. Changes to the service and prices

We may change, suspend or stop any part of the website or BookingElf. If we change the price for venues already using BookingElf, we will tell you by email before the change applies to you.

15. Ending the service

You can stop using BookingElf at any time by telling us at [email protected]. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Obligations that arose before the end date continue after it.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the website or BookingElf after a change means you accept the updated terms.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute about them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

18. General

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right, we have not given it up. These terms, with any written plan confirmation for your venue, are the entire agreement between you and us about the website and BookingElf.
